Located on the southern shore of pristine Portage Lake and nestled in over 50 acres of conserved northern Michigan forest, historic Camp Tosebo offers its guests the best in indoor comfort and unlimited 'up north' outdoor activities. The sandy swimming beach and picnic area is located just a short walk through historic Red Park. There are boat moorings for guests who bring a boat, with easy access to Lake Michigan through the channel. Guests are encouraged to hike, run, and cross-country ski on the property or enjoy tennis and basketball on the recently renovated courts. Horseshoes, badminton, volleyball, and campfire areas are also provided.

Northern Manistee County abounds with opportunities for vacation fun all year long. World class fishing, boating, golf, cycling, hunting, horseback riding, bird watching, snowmobiling, canoeing, kayaking, and mushroom hunting all are at your doorstep. The Manistee and Onekama areas offer many fine restaurants, the Little River Casino, antique shops, art galleries, and other places of interest. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the “Wine Country” of north west Michigan are an easy day trip.
Camp Tosebo thrived for over a half century as the summer home for the Todd Seminary for Boys, hence the name ‘To-Se-Bo’. Though the Camp closed in the mid-seventies, those memories live on in the many camp artifacts displayed in the buildings. Today, long after the last campers have gone, Tosebo retains their memories and provides an ideal setting to reminisce or to create your own memories. Visit our history page for more information.
We look forward to having you as our guest at Camp Tosebo!
